Salon Sessions bring together like minded people sharing the passion for the creative arts and making the world a better place.

This event is a fundraiser to support  our music and entrepreneurship academy in the township of Langa, Cape Town, South Africa.

This will be an intimate gathering of 70 curated guests hosted by Tony & Ximena Cho, Kweku Mandela, Alex Ebert ( Edward Sharpe) and Ben Nehmadi featuring Richie Hawtin, Skrillex, Arthur Baker and more surprise guests.

There will be a special live performance by Behrouz and friends. Food will be served by our selected group of volunteer artists.

An art auction (both silent and live) curated by Katie Hanson will be available throughout the event.  Special access to a selection of sought after up-and-coming artists and "once in a lifetime" experiences curated by Liz Miller.

The discussion will include an introduction of Bridges for Music by its Founder Valentino Barrioseta and Board Member Bear Kittay, who will explain its mission to change communities through music, arts and education.

We are honoured to welcome on our US board, a true social alchemist, someone passionate to make a difference working with people, and someone believing in the power of music to change peoples lives. He will surely help scale the impact of BFM and will help take it to another level, adding his knowledge in community building, his network and his experience in so many fields that are close to the core of BFM, including his great expertise from years working at Burning Man as a global ambassador, founding Organizer.com and working with other non profits. Welcome to the family, Bear Kittay.
We are excited about the future with you.
