In February 2015 Loco Dice landed in South Africa with non-profit organization Bridges for Music. Bridges for Music works with artists , festivals and fans to create positive change in the world (www.bridgesformusic.org), focusing on empowering communities through the power of music and education. The aim of this tour was connecting with the local scene through a series of workshops in the townships of Langa (Cape Town) and Soweto (Johannesburg) and raising money through the shows that took place in partnership with Truth, Zone 6 and the Cape Town Electronic Music festival.

Thanks to all the artists and companies involved and specially to Red Bull Studio for its involvement and continued support.

20 February 2015
In honor of its 20th Anniversary, Pioneer DJ is partnered with both Sonar Cape Town  and Bridges for Music to fully fund a workshop and industry barbecue in the township of Langa (South Africa) on December 14th, featuring the Bloody Beetroots and local artist Ryan Murgatroyd and Mizz. A select group of local township artists will be performing as well. This event was part of its 20 years in the dance music industry celebrations and also part of SEED experiences partnership with Bridges for Music to generate positive change.

Sonar representatives also took part of this workshop to explain and introduce the story of Sonar to local artists and producers.

The aim of this workshop was to bring the culture of Sonar closer to the townships, create a cultural exchange between artists from different backgrounds and unite through music.
